My personal passion is to concentrate on creating SUPERB Red wine cuvées at their highest possible quality level. GRANDS VINS at an unbeatable quality/price ratio, which expresses our small, but unique vineyard.

 

The magnificent Mediterranean Sea climate with its 300+ days of sunshine, the mineral fertile soils and of course the "Vieilles Vignes", all together add up to have outstanding conditions which are a constant quality guarantee for our wines.

A rising star in the world of Grands Vins

The Montlobre harvest may be low in quantity but it's HIGH in quality. Our wines are distributed to a selected number of well known and highly respected and independent wine merchants. Most of these wine merchants are famous for their various selections of superb high quality wines such as Grands Crus and the New World boutique wines.

 

Together we have established a close circle of enthusiastic Montlobre wine lovers and connoisseurs, whom we like to keep informed as much as possible. Normally most of our wine friends and customers are informed about cellar events, new vintages, new cuvées or vineyard projects at least a couple of times each year.

Montlobre - La Chapelle

Our wine focus is mainly based on Red Merlot selected Vignes clones from Bordeaux cultivars. After a proper aging process in OAK barrels, these Red Merlot wines should be able to reach a similar aristocratic type of Pomerol-styled taste.

 

So if you love those finest dominated Merlot wines from the New World and Bordeaux region, you will appreciate the excitement at the prospect of finding both at Montlobre.
